Damage To Mirrors
[applicable to Householders only]

Section IIC

This cover is given to you automatically, under Section IIC, when you insure the contents of your home under the Householders insurance. The advantage of this cover is that you can claim for any accidental breakage to any fixed mirrors in you home by any cause.

Note that this extension is specifically designed to cover breakage of fixed mirrors only and not other types of glass in your home. For example, if another plate glass in your house, says, the window, is damaged, such loss would be covered under Section I, but only if the damage is caused by one of the insured perils.

If you require cover for breakage to the plate glass by any other cause, you may consider buying the optional cover called "plate glass".
