Riot, Strike & Malicious Damage

Loss or damage to the insured property as a result of riot is clearly excluded according to General Exceptions 1b of the policy.

By paying additional premium this exception can be bought back. There are two levels of provided by this extension : fire damage and also non-fire damage done by rioters to the insured property.

The presence of the following elements may cause a situation to be classified as a riot :
Malicious Damage, on the other hand, covers the non-fire damage done by persons acting out of personal malice as opposed to a large group. This extension is available only as part of the riot cover.

The scope is very wide as it would include virtually any act that a malicious person would think of in order to damage your property. For example, spraying acid or paint.
