Temporary Removal

Section IIB

Section IIB extends to cover your home contents whilst they are temporarily removed to another location not mentioned in the policy. For example, cover is provided to your television set if it is temporarily kept at, say, your parent's house. Cover continues as long as the removed content remains within Malaysia and the Republic of Singapore.

Cover is also afforded during transit as long as the loss or damage is caused by one of the insured perils.

However, the perils of hurricane, cyclone, typhoon, windstorm, earthquake, volcanic eruption and floods are not covered during transit. The amount of cover provided is limited to 15% of the total sum insured. No cover is given if the contents are removed :
