| Hi, I need an advice. I m a claiment for a writ of seizure which was made on my mother. The items that i m claiming is my laptop which is under my name. The opposing side is now telling to the court that without my mother's help, i wouldnt have bought the laptop on my own as i was 19 at that time and the item should be sold off to settle the debt owed by my mother. (but the truth is i got the fund from my father) what i m asking is can they make these kind of statements and get the court to rule in their favour even though the laptop is under my name and ownership? Please help. Thanks. | |
