Since you are seeking for comments, I can only speak for myself from my observation.

Law is a rather popular course both locally or overseas. Due to the strong demand, the entrance standard to law school commonly set to rather high. The successful candidates normally the top 20% of the student population.

The law course requires a high standard of command of language -- English/BM -- depends on the country concerned. Basing on my observation, your English would still need great improvement for you to be able to follow with the course. If there is a will, there is a way. Perhaps you may examine yourself again what careers really interesting to you and your real motivation. Many people turned out engaging in other careers than what they were trained earlier.

I too became a Lawyer after completing my ICSA. You are able to get easier entry to the course by virtue of your previous proven higher education at the ICSA. It is desirable to study locally if you intend to practice locally. However if you wish to expand your horizons and considering the ICSA qualification you may well want to do that later, the Lond Uni external may not be a bad idea then completing the local requirements for admission locally.

It is not more difficult that studying for any other profession (except medicine I suppose).Much depends on your motivation. I was motivated by a very beautiful woman who I later married and I studied like a Dog and got 1st Class Honours Uni London. I now live and Practice in Australia and return frequently to Malaysia as my firm has an office in Singapore to whcih I am often seconded.

Law is very particular on the usage of language. You are taking very casual attitude over your posting totally disregarding the need of using good grammar. A seemingly small blunder can cause you dearly if you ever be a professional lawyer.

In short, it is your advantage to examine yourself the motive dreaming to be a lawyer. It is better to do it now than later. Gaining a paper qualification is less important than enjoying what you can do with it.

I hope your sentiments were not addressed to me. Even if they were not they tend to show you up in a very poor light indeed. The poster asked for something specific, not for an assessment of her English Grammar which you are found to be wanting in. "Pot calling the Kettle Black?"

Murthy attacked regardless whether he was addressed to. No sensible person reading the messages would come to that conclusion.

I find Dekowlee's has put his message in a very restrained manner. In plain language, he is saying "jenny" should look at all other career options before jumping in law course. Jenny's kiddish writing do not look like she has the attitude for law. She may, with great luck able to complete her law course, but her inadequacy and incompetency in her professional practice may mean more harm than good to her.
