Can I Transfer My Name Out From My Home & Then File Bankruptcy?

Hi, I am Teh.

I am loaded with more than $20,000 credit card debt and currently finding my debt unmanageable, with 2 to 3 months' overdue. Every month, I have to pay more than $1500 on credit card debt.

With BNM's new rule on 10% late penalty on outstanding balance, I am getting more and more suffocated.

I applied to AKPK's debt management program in August and will only know if it's approved the end of the year.

I would be grateful if you could answer my question. I am so tight that I don't have spare money to get legal advice. I am worried they will charge me hundreds or thousands of dollars.

Let's say my AKPK debt management program is not approved.

Can I transfer my name out from my house to my partner? The house is under both of our names.

And then I file for bankruptcy. I don't want my house to be repossessed and auctioned.

I have refinanced my house once and honestly my home loan payment record is not so good. But I want to keep this house.

I would be grateful if you could let me know if it's possible to transfer my name out of the house and then file for bankruptcy.

Thanks
