Director's right to sign cheque

New MessageBank issue in a company (modified 0 times) Joyce
My husband want to set up a private limited co. he used my name to register as one of the director as criteria needed at least 2 names for registration. My share is only 10%. He ask me to assist him and he appointed me as an Account Manager, now in office only have 2 of us at the moment. My worry now is he doing thing on his way, all the business handle on his own, never let me know, and now i requested the company cheque to be signed by both party but he refused. What can I do now as to protect myself, because as I know my name appeared as Director in company registration, i also encounter to all the liability if any., I actually request to pull out my name, but he say in these 2 years time is impossible as business license not allowed to. I really worry as he is very conservative about the business came in. Pls adv what actually company director's right?
