Cheated by Maid Agency

To whom it may be concern,

We needed justice and help being a victim of conman owner of Agensi Pekerjaan Duta Sdn Bhd (co.No 903539-H)

Sherynn, Vimala and myself, Kennest (at least) gotten maids from the above stated agency.

The owner known as Sham has collected RM8500 for each maid but unable to get our maid approved and even not providing a maid. When asked for refund we were being threaten and even scolded in vulgar words.

I have informed him that i will bring this up to higher authority and even to write up to the ketua pengarah imigresen, if he does not take responsibility or pay us back the money we have paid. The owner, Sham doesnt not care and even welcome us to do so.

We are so lost now being con with the huge amount and dont know where to seek justice.

We seriously need help and advice. We got to know they are more victims are involved which dare not take action. Please help and stop the conman to keep doing the same to more people.

We need our hard earn money to be refunded or at least to provide us the maid which we had paid.

JUST PUT INTO ACTION !!

You MUST go and make a Police Report with the Commercial Crime Investigation Section, and also make a Report to the Immigration Department.

Be sure to bring the RECEIPTS he issued to you to prove you are cheated.

I beleive i too have fallen victim to this guy called Sham Ismail Tom and paid 8500. When we met him at his residence in Bukit Jelutong he talked so well and he answered all our questions well, we were so desperate for a maid but reluctant to take a Cambodian maid so we opted for the Indon. He said he had one called Unni and told us upon RM8500 we can have her and he will immediately process her visa. The maid came the next day to our house but in one month's time she ran away. When asked for a replacement maid he didnt give us till today its 2 months since she ran.
We now have to lodge a report on this man. Wished i had read this forum before we paid that conman
