Hi,
I would need some advice on this matter, I'm bonded with my current company with a contract which I agreed to sign which the company will sponsor me for a training course. As stated in the contract,I've to give a 2 month notice period if i wish to leave the company and pay back the company the training fees.
Recently, I've just given my resignation letter and agree to pay the training fees at the end of the 2 month notice period. However, the HR would require me to pay the money in advance by a week after the letter being submitted.
I would like to know, do I have the authority not to agree with the HR's request and only pay it at the end of my service to this company?
Please do advice on this matter as what action should I take or is there any laws and regulation that protects employee from this kind of circumstances.
