i'm sabahan. I would like to adopt baby but the mother is foreign. Heard cannot adopt because the baby's mother is foreign and also the baby cannot become malaysian. Can i adopt or become guidance (penjaga) to this baby without change her citizen. (i want to raise this baby untill she is 18 or 21 yrs old). What should i do? Thank you

You may seek advice from Social Welfare Department and Immigration Department for latest updated Proper Guidance to prevent unforeseen problems.
