 | CAVEAT ON PROPERTY (modified 0 times) | amypai | |
I have bought a house with my other two sister's. The bank did not release the money to the seller for quite sometime becouse he was BLACKLISTED.
The seller is now demanding late payment interest from us ( The Buyers) or else he is going to put a caveat on the property.
The Sales and Purchase of the house has been completed now and we have started paying our mortgage last month.
Both the Seller & us ( The Buyers) has used the same lawyer and the lawyer is advicing us (The Buyers) that it is possible for the seller to do so.
MY QUESTION:
Is it possible for the seller to put a CAVEAT on the property at the completion of the sales and purchase?
Do we really have to pay the buyers? | |
