A Sales & Purchase Agreement for the purchase of a SHOP LOT was handled by my lawyer
(who I believe should not represent the seller but my case they did). The end result of
which remains unresolved until today. The tenant un-informed by S&P Lawyer to pay rental
to the new owner (myself) starting from the month of February continued to pay rental to
the seller. It's almost one year gone by and the seller is reluctant to refund the 2 months
rental which was incorrectly paid to him.
The seller has migrated to New Zealand and is paying hardball to refund the said 2 months
rental. My lawyer is also delaying and not providing me a satisfactory answer.
Question: Am I in a position to report this matter to the BAR Council over their malpractice.
Please advise. | |
