Your brother's fault is not your fault although you were the guarantor.

He is an Adult. Let him face his own problem to Learn a good Lesson!

The Insurance Company cannot do anything to you, even though you may continuously receive unwanted letters from them. Just don't bother!!

Blacklisted??... So What?? Don't apply loan from ANY Bank for GOODNESS SAKE!!

Throw away your worry! CONCENTRATE your Energy on MAKING MORE MONEY, and then BUY EVERYTHING BY CASH!! That's it!!

Get the document that your brother supposedly signed and read the contents, while getting a legal opinion. If indeed you are a guarantor, you have to know that you are one from the start. If you also signed a document saying that you are a guarantor, it seems like you have payments to make. But this really sounds like a scam from your insurer. This sounds terrible!

If you are indeed a guarantor, then you have to pay. You could sue your brother for fraud or something, but that is between you two. In the eyes of the company, you have signed on as a guarantor. Without your signature, your brother would not have been loaned the money.
