My brother as insurance agency at American Home Assurance Co, he apply agency and fill up a agency form and asking to sign. Now, my brother owing this motor insurance company 60K , he was bankcrupcty, the company say I am guarantor. So blacklisted can'loan from bank. Let him face his own problem to Learn a good Lesson! The Insurance Company cannot do anything to you, even though you may continuously receive unwanted letters from them. Just don't bother!! If indeed you are a guarantor, you have to know that you are one from the start. If you also signed a document saying that you are a guarantor, it seems like you have payments to make. You could sue your brother for fraud or something, but that is between you two. In the eyes of the company, you have signed on as a guarantor.
