object fall down from truck (modified 0 times) francis Profile | Email The story is like this I incur in the road accident, the trailer/truck bring good and drop from the truck and hit my car, when I drive at opposite lane toward the truck, can I claim the insurance from the trailer owner to repair my car, what I understand from the trailer/ truck owner, he claim that it didn't cover in their insurance policy regarding the good fall from the trailer even the trailer owner is buy comprehensive and hence I cannot claim the insurance from the trailer owner since it is object drop and not crash, is it true? in this case can we consider damage to other property? what can I do to get them to pay? now I used my own insurance to repair the car and lost of NCB. can i sue the truck to court ask them to pay my lost. and what type of lost can i ask for them. Some people may even think VINCE is the Lord President just because he has put on his coconut shell and sarong. Dropping an object from a moving vehicle is wrong, at least from the surface. Whether the damage is covered by the culprit's vehicle insurance or not has nothing to do with your right to claim for compensation. The sooner you take action the better for your claim. You are well advised to get your own lawyer to handle your matter if you are not able to do it yourself. Timing is very important. Even if you are capable to learn fast, it may not be fast enough to solve your problem, unless you have the "cure all" tablet from VINCE LP. 04 Apr, 2005 12:54:06
