I am working in a well known subsidiary company in Selangor. I am in management post so I can drive company car as one of the allowance. I met the car accident last month and I was told by HR that company will deduct the company car insurance NCB from my pay!! I was shock and unhappy with the decision. I am wondering is there a right for the company to deduct my pay for the car insurance NCB lost? There isn't any stated in the contract and there is a sentences that the details is covered in the handbook while I never receive the handbook for it.
In my thoughts, I am working for the company, I am part of the asset of the company as well. If the company will count every cents with the employee and just protect their own adventage, who wants to work harder and grow with the company?
Can some one advise me on the case? Is the company has the right to deduct the NCB lost from my pay?
