I got a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology from a local public university. I am interested in becomiung a patent agent. However, I do not know where can I obtain the information regarding the procedures in becoming a registered patent agent.
1. With a background in biotechnoology, can I apply to sit for the examination and subsequently become a patent agent?
2. How much is the examination fee?
3. Where can I find any education institution or organisation that provides training in becoming a patent agent?
4. Where can I find relevant detailed information about this? | |

You need to contact the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia for more information. It's a division of the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Malaysia and responsible for the development and management of intellectual property system in Malaysia.
