We quarrel everytime we talked (modified 0 times) Help! Me and my husband married for almost 2 years. Recently we have communication problems and we keep on quarrel non stop even when we talked on the phone. I think it's kinda hard for us to continue the relationship as both of us might torture ourselve in the end. We will have no ending revenge with each other and I do not want this kind of marriage life. I need an advice as in where to engage a trustworthy lawyer to handle the divorce case and how soon it can get over. I assume my husband would agree to file for divorcy as he did agreed with my suggestion before. Need your sincere advice. 15 Sep, 2008 00:26:59

RE:We quarrel everytime we talked (modified 0 times) shri Hello there, if your husband is agreeable to the divorce, you can apply for divorce by way of joint petition. You would have to be married (registered) for at least 2 years. this procedure is cheaper and faster than going for a contested divorce. A divorce by way of joint petition in KL usually takes between 6 - 8 months (from the date of the client signing all the relevant papers). Hope this is helpful.
