Full settlement

Every month i paid RM300 installment for my credit card with AM Bank. Now AM Bank called for another electrical products which i bought in 1994 and they ask to pay RM8k plus. Told them i want to pay full settlement by amt of RM3k but d lawyer represented d AM bank scold me for negotiating w lawyer. She said only lawyer can bargain not me to bargain w them and said they will send someone to my house to seal it if i didn't settle it. If i choose to pay installment then my outstanding remain RM8k and after negotiate w them they gave final amt RM4.5k which i felt is unreasonable.  You guys think the amount is reasonable?  I want to speak to the AM Bank manager but the AM Bank officer would let me talk to the manager. Can anyone of you help me how to settle it.

i am recommending you to speak with a mediator at 0322890775 for some views from him of what mediation is and how it can help all parties concerned in this conflict. mediation is fair but that also means it is impartial. but really it is the best method to use when it comes to disputes like this plus mediation's fees are really not high.
