Thanks.

I watched a local TV programme in Chinese and that a specialist helped a couple to implant an embryo. They can even choose the gender of the child, a boy or a girl. This is about science and the the greatness of science.

It is a specialist, you can check with your local doctor but the cost very high. If you can't find it, try to call TV7. It was shown on TV7.

This is not called science. When you looked at what sperm is, you will know that the human have done something quite dirty. It's not science.

We Malaysians like to be normal.

The TV7 Chinese program might be doing something and you say it's sex.

Maybe @Ah Seng888 got some misunderstanding about sperm bank... so he answered like that. Sincerely hope you search and google for the definition of "Sperm Bank". This is a totally CLEAN bank and not what you think as dirty.

Do think about a couple that cannot have even ONE child after 10 years of their marriage.. and if this is caused by the man's sperm being not healthy (you can always  have sperm count test in any medical lab) or high in motility? What will you do if you both really want a child? Of course you cannot say "I go find another girl or women" or the wife says "I go find another man".. must know, they LOVE each other..

So, the solution is:
1) if due to sperm problem: go to sperm bank to find a healthy sperm. The doctor there will have the advance technology to test everything that you want. You can even choose a good DNA profile one.
2) if the women cannot produce eggs, then they might need to look for a donor, and maybe they also need a "carry mother"...
these services are all now available in few famous private hospitals in Malaysia.

So what do you think it's so dirty? Hey, it's all done in clean room, sterilized environment with all those really professional doctors.

This is the achievement of science, and all human should be proud of it because we all don't know how normal and how long we can keep strong..

Hey, you can always choose to STORE your sperm in sperm bank. This can be stored up to more than 20 years, if I am not mistaken. So if one day in the future, you don't have anymore healthy sperm, then you can go back to this "bank" to draw your "Money"  meaning your original sperm.

Hope you understand this is science, don't mix up science with "dirty job". Check everything before you comment.

Take a deep breath when facing anything that makes you "angry", then think twice..

Sperm bank or sperm donating aren't dirty or bad. It's a form of genetic experimental, mutation and evolving. It's more of like a natural selection for those who are infertile or having difficulties having their own infant.

Nobody forces nobody to accept this. It's more like free-will. It's up to yourself to accept or reject.

Of course there are good and bad in it. But I do hope you'll deep enough into the subject before making comments saying that it's bad and dirty. Especially saying it's dirty. What's so dirty about it?

Conservative thinking will keep you standing at where you are. You need to start moving or else you'll be left behind, all alone.

It exist in Malaysia. But there are no proper regulation on this. The same people can trigger happy and donate many times and get paid many times. There are no limit to how many times he can donate. Imagine you and 20 others or more couple conceive from same source, your child would have many half brothers or sisters. Finger crossed they don't meet and populate the world with weakened genes. Can't imagine how the futures will be. Maybe that's why God needs to end this world...

Sex is originally created by God to be holy, clean and pure.
It is fallen man and woman that makes it dirty.

*sigh* I have never imagined a Malaysian to be this immature and conservative.. However, it was years ago so it's probably different now...

Sperm banking doesn't mean harm, it's for men who wish to store their sperms before an operation or whatsoever. It's offered in certain private hospitals in Malaysia.
As for sperm donations, I don't think there is any legal one yet. However, the government is currently drafting an exercise which should be completed by 2012. I read it from an article from New Straits Times.

I personally believe it's for a good cause. Sperm donation is mainly for childless couples and single women to have their own child. I don't see any wrong in it as long as it doesn't go against religion. So if your religion doesn't allow it, then please don't do it.

I hope that we can be more open about such things and not be judgemental. It may be hard for some to accept it but it takes time for these things to be implemented.
I hope I helped (:
