Buying a car as a tourist in Langkawi

I am writing from Germany. I will come to Malaysia soon as a tourist. I want to tour Malaysia for 3 months starting in Langkawi. I have heard they are a tax free island. Can I generally buy a car in Malaysia as a tourist ? What documents are needed ? How long takes the procedure until I have my ownership certificate ? Can I also buy a tax-free car in Langkawi ? Both new or used cars would be possible ? How about crossing the border into Singapore or Thailand, is it allowed ?

What nonsense are you trying to raise. Aparteid country?.. first of all do you know what is the meaning?.. if you are so racist be it chinese or indian. As yourself you have the chance to penned down your words in the internet.

i wasnt born as a racist... but those malays make me one. what was mentioned bout the malays are true. i was apparently neutral until i went to #####ular malaysia since last 5 yrs. they hv totally turned me into racist. it's all bout our experience as a non-muslim in malaysia. it's up to u all if u wanna take our words. as tourists, it wont affect u all, in fact,  u all will be treated like kings, cuz you are our country's source of income.
for your info, there is an incidence in langkawi where 4 or 5 gov authorities rammed into a house owned by an australian couple suspecting of underage domestic relationship. the couple is 50 sth retiree. up to u to believe that there is such brainless creature in malaysia. still your most welcomed to malaysia! we will never discourage any tourist to visit our country. it's only our little story we like to share being as a non-muslim malayisian citizen. there are alot more of these stories, it's just too much to share.....
