Also known as the Marudi District Council in English. Established on January 1, 1957 as the Baram District Council. The Council was renamed Marudi District Council on January 1, 1991. Areas under the administration of the Marudi District Council are Bandar Marudi, Pekan Beluru, Pekan Bario, Pekan Long Bedian, Pekan Long Lama, Pekan Long Akah, Kampung Long Bemang, Kampung Long San, Kampung Long Miri, Kampung Long Naah, Kampung Long Laput, Kampung Long Panai, Kampung Long Kevok, Kampung Long Terawan, Kampung Long Jegan and Kampung Long Loyang. Marudi District Council is responsible to the development and peace in its areas as well as motivated to provide the best services incoherent with the government policies and country visions.

Also known as the Saratok District Council in English. Started operation in 1984 after changing its name from Kalaka District Council (Majlis Daerah Kalaka) to Saratok District Council. Saratok District is divided into two sub-district namely Roban Sub-district and Kabong Sub-district.

» Majlis Daerah Sarikei Open Majlis Daerah Sarikei in New Window
Also known as the Sarikei District Council in English. Established on January 1, 1955 under the Local Authority Ordinance. The main functions of Majlis Daerah Sarikei are to provide cleanliness facilities such as waste disposal, drain and road cleaning service; licensing for various business and shops; to provide counter for assessment rates payment under the Bayaran Bil Setempat system; town beautification; to provide infrastructures, children playground, etc; urban and rural tax colletions; and to enforce local authority laws. The Majlis Daerah Sarikei official website features online forms, gallery, e-tender and news.
