Pertubuhan Peladang Negeri Sarawak (PPNS)
Also known as the State Farmers' Organisation (SFO), Sarawak in English. Incorporated on January 2, 1986 under the Farmers' Organisation Act 109, 1973. The Organisation is under the purview of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industries (MAFI), Sarawak and acts as the business arm of the Department of Agriculture (DOA), Sarawak. Main business activities of the Organisation are agro-business, food production and processing, agricultural development project (mini-estates) and services. Pustaka Negeri Sarawak
Also known as the Sarawak State Library in English. The main functions of Pustaka Negeri Sarawak are to provide timely, accurate, relevant and accessible information in different formats - the essential ingredients for the healthy economic and social development of a State and its citizens; to develop and contribute to relevant bibliographic databases, with particular reference to materials published within Sarawak; to develop itself as the hub of information services within Sarawak; to participate in National and International networks of libraries and information services; to provide an educational environment through programmes and exhibitions organised; to increase awareness of the importance and potential of information services; and to teach information and research skills. Sarawak Biodiversity Centre (SBC)
In 1997, the Sarawak State Government enacted the Sarawak Biodiversity Centre Ordinance and set up the Sarawak Biodiversity Centre (SBC) the following year to initiate programmes for the conservation, utilisation, protection and sustainable development of biodiversity in the State. The core functions of SBC are implementing bioprospecting programmes on the State's indigenous biodiversity; facilitating the documentation of Traditional Knowledge on communities' management and utilisation of biodiversity; propagating Sarawak's indigenous plants for conservation and appreciation; maintaining biodiversity related databases; conducting biodiversity-biotechnology awareness and appreciation programmes; regulating biodiversity related research with commercial potential in Sarawak through the Research Permit System; and networking with organisations with similar interests.

Established in 1972 as a state-owned statutory body to promote commercial, industrial and socio-economic development of Sarawak.
