Formerly known as the Sarawak Electricity Supply Corporation (SESCO). Established in 1932 as the Sarawak Electricity Supply Company Limited to operate public electricity supply throughout Sarawak with exclusive generating rights. Under the Sarawak Electricity Supply Corporation Ordinance 1962, the Sarawak Electricity Co. Ltd was dissolved and all installation transferred to and vested in the Corporation. In 1996, Sarawak Enterprise Corporation Bhd bought over 45% stake of the Corporation from the Sarawak State Government. Sarawak Electricity Supply Corporation was fully privatised and renamed Syarikat SESCO Berhad on July 1, 2005. The Syarikat SESCO Berhad official website features electricity tariff rate, payment method, station addresses, customer info, electrical safety, customer services and business activities.

Also known as the Internal Audit Unit, Sarawak Chief Minister’s Department in English. The Internal Audit Unit was set up as a Division in the State Financial Secretary's Office and commenced operation in January 1996. In March 2001, the Division was moved to the Chief Minister's Department and renamed the Internal Audit Unit. The purpose for establishing the Internal Audit is to further enhance economy, efficiency, accountability and transparency of government operations. The Directory of Internal Audit is authorised to examine all properties, records and functions of State Ministries, State Departments, State Statutory Bodies and Local Authorities.
