Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran (JPS) Sarawak
Also known as the Department of Irrigation and Drainage (DID), Sarawak in English. At the national level, DID was formed on January 1, 1932, whereas in Sarawak, the provision of drainage and irrigation facilities was performed by the Public Works Department PWD (JKR) until January 1, 1967 when the Drainage and Irrigation Branch of the PWD, Sarawak became a full pledged Department under the then State Ministry of Agriculture and Community Development. Presently, DID Sarawak is under the purview of the Sarawak Ministry of Rural and Land Development.

Jabatan Perhutanan Negeri Sarawak
Also known as the Forest Department of Sarawak in English. Established in 1919. The Forest Department of Sarawak fulfills its functions and responsibilities through four main activities - enforcement of the Forests Ordinance 1958, the National Parks and Nature Reserve Ordinance 1998, the Wildlife Protection Ordinance 1998, and the control of all forestry operations covered under the terms of a forest licence; collection of revenue due to the Government from timber royalty, premium and other fees; environmental protection, protection and conservation of endangered wildlife species and rare plants, establishment of National Parks & Wildlife sanctuaries, and the control of the harvest of the permanent forest estate based on the principle of Sustainable Forest Management; advising the Government on all matters pertaining to forestry & the promotion of a profitable export trade on forest produce. Also known as the Department of Agriculture Sarawak in English. Established in 1924. The main functions of the Department are agricultural extension, agri business & training; promoting commercial development of crop, livestock & aquaculture; agriculture research & technology promotion; farmers organisation & entrepreneurship development; agriculture and soil info; farm mechanisation & infrastructural development and regulatory & enforcement services.
