Jabatan Ukur Dan Pemetaan Malaysia (JUPEM) Sarawak
Also known as the Department of Survey and Mapping Malaysia, Sarawak in English. Initiated operation in January 1989. JUPEM Sarawak was given the mandate to conduct mapping and geodetic survey works in Sarawak, which was supposed to be a Federal responsibility, as stipulated in the Inter-Governmental Committee Report 1962. The JUPEM Sarawak official website features products and services (State Maps Sale, Survey and Geodetic Data, GPS, Tidal Data, Leveling and Bench Marks, Astronomical Data), activities, tenders and gallery.

Commonly known as the Sarawak Ministry of Environment and Public Health (MOEPH) in English. This Ministry has been known by various names in the past. It has been known as the Ministry of Local Government, and then Ministry of Local Government and Housing, and later the Ministry of Environment. Now it is known as the Ministry of Environment and Public Health.

Also known as the Ministry of Land Development, Sarawak in English. Established on July 12, 1985. In 1994, the function of the Ministry was expanded to include the implementation of the Native Customary Rights (NCR) Land development programme in accordance with the New Concept of Development on NCR land. Following a restrucring, the Ministry was renamed the Ministry of Rural and Land Development Sarawak on January 2, 1998 to reflect additional responsibilities assigned to it. On July 1, 2004, subsequent to a State Cabinet reshuffle, the Ministry of Rural and Land Development was split into two separate entities namely Ministry of Rural Development and Ministry of Land Development. The functions of the Ministry include keeping a Watching Brief over the operations of FELCRA Bhd & FELDA Bhd in the State; formulating policy, plan & monitoring land development programme; monitoring poverty eradication programmes; and monitoring & development of land held under Native Customary Rights.

Kementerian Kemudahan Awam Sarawak
Also known as the Ministry of Public Utilities Sarawak in English. Prior to the reshuffling of the State Cabinet on July 1, 2004, utilities sector was under the purview of the Ministry of Finance and Public Utilities. Following the reshuffle, Public Utilities was separated from the Ministry of Finance. The utilities lists and other functions under the purview of the Ministry of Public Utilities are water (includes Rural Water Supply), electricity (includes Rural Electrification Scheme), gas, telecommunication infrastructure, Bakun HEP Project, proposed Aluminium Smelter Plant project in Similajau and issues pertaining to any construction of dam for water catchments and resettlement issues arise from such projects. The Ministry is currently handling the construction and resettlement of Gerugu Dam at Sarikei and Bengoh Dam at Kuching. The agencies under the Ministry are Kuching Water Board, Sibu Water Board, LAKU Management Sdn Bhd, JKR (Water Section) and SACOFA (telecommunications).
