A total of 275 artistes from entertainment industry have been declared bankrupt. Those identified as popular artistes declared bankrupt for they failed to repay the loan used either to set-up business or purchase vehicles.

The department’s director, Datuk Abdul Karim Abdul Jalil listed out ten artistes who failed to settle loan used to purchase vehicles, six for setting-up businesses, three for being corporate guarantor, two on credit cards and the rest failed to settle home loan and income tax.

The above is not a surprise at all.

If we have gone thru' the 'loan department' from the former Bank Bumiputera, they were ten of thousands who had failed to settle the loans. If Bank Bumiputera had filed against them ... ten of thousands will be made bankrupt.

If we have gone thru' the loan department from our Education Dept, they were ten of thousand of students who had failed to settle the loans. If our goverment had filed against them .... ten of thousands will be made bankrupt.

From the above para, tens and tens of thousand of bad debt cases ... over 98% of them are from only one race .... how pathetic. Loans were given to them, without any collateral , without any supervison, without even borther if the borrower will pay back or not. In many cases, a second loan were given to the same borrower who had failed to settle the first lone. In some cases, a bad loan defauter still can get multi loans ! In the 90s, it an open secret, the banks managers/executives were offering to secure loan to any one .... but at an expense of 10% commission.... it is an open secret in BB. About the study loans, ten of thousands of the borrower had failed to settle their loan ... not because they cannot afford but on the contrary ... they don't have to pay back because it is a norm. Many of these borrowers are already high positiion in GLA & GLC.

Once it was the SECOND largest bank in BolehLand ... because this bank was political linked to our corrupted goverment .... it end up .... the Bank had lost it " Bumiputera " and now it 'belong' to another bank.

In any family, when the parent is irresponsible and loves to pamper their children ... majority of their children will be spoilt and when these children grow up .... majority of them will forever need clutches.

Bankruptcy rate up for Malaysian Indians

ANI     Monday 7th December, 2009

Kuala Lumpur, Dec 7: The number of Malaysian Indians declared bankrupt with their properties seized for auction has grown over the years and many of them were women aged below 30.

Consumer Association of Penang education officer N. V. Subbarow said that it was disappointing to note the growing number of women in the list.

"Most of them had become bankrupt because of improper planning of their expenditure, unnecessary spending and ill-thought out investments due to their greed to earn money within a short space of time," The Daily Star quoted Subbarow, as saying.

He also said that the bankrupt not only comprised people unable to pay their outstanding loans, but those who had stood as guarantors.
