Halfbrick Studios is a game development company in Australia with its head office located in Brisbane.
The company was established in 2001 by 6 guys in a basement. It began to work on licensed games in 2002. In 2009, Halfbrick Studios independently released their own games on multiple platforms.
In 2010, Halfbrick Studios worked on a little project called Fruit Ninja, which was released in April the same year. Fruit Ninja turned into a highly acclaimed mobile game.
The company began developing their next popular game, Jetpack Joyride, in 2011.
By 2015, Fruit Ninja hits one billion downloads worldwide and Halfbrick Studios leveled up their office space in 2016. |
