How do I uninstall or remove a software from my computer?

Exit the Program

An uninstaller may not work if the program you want to uninstall is running on your computer.

Look at the taskbar. If the taskbar contains the program icon, right-click the icon and choose Close.

Next, look at the icons in the system tray for the program that runs in the background. If you see such an icon, right-click the icon and click Exit.
